Who we are

Crowdbase is a customer CRM and marketing platform for event brands, operated by Fuenture. Fuenture is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@fuenture.com.

What data we process

We process a limited set of personal data in order to run event promotion for our clients (event organisers and brands):

  • Event-customer contact data. Our clients import their own customer lists into Crowdbase — typically names, email addresses, phone numbers, city of residence, date of birth, and similar contact details of people who have attended or shown interest in their events.
  • Ticketing data. Where a client uses FourVenues for ticketing, we sync ticket and order information (such as which events a person bought tickets for and when) through the FourVenues Integrations API.
  • Email engagement data. When marketing emails are sent through our email provider, Resend, we process delivery and engagement events — for example whether an email was delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, or unsubscribed.
  • Advertising performance data. For our own advertising tools, we retrieve aggregated ad performance data (such as reach, spend, and results) via the Meta Marketing API. This is campaign-level performance data, not the personal data of individual ad viewers.

Why we process it

We use this data for a single purpose: to help our clients run and improve their event promotion. In practice that means managing customer lists, sending relevant event emails, understanding ticket sales, and measuring how marketing and advertising campaigns perform so they can be made more effective.

We do not use this data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to event promotion.

How we share data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We do rely on a small number of trusted service providers (processors) who handle data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us:

  • Supabase — database and application hosting (where customer and ticketing data is stored).
  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of the Crowdbase application.
  • Resend — sending marketing and transactional email and reporting delivery/engagement.
  • Meta — providing advertising performance data through the Meta Marketing API.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for event promotion, or as long as our client instructs us to. Because much of the data belongs to our clients, we retain it while they remain an active customer and delete or return it when they ask us to or when their account is closed. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept for longer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”).
  • Object to or restrict processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent and opt out of marketing emails at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@fuenture.com. In many cases the data is controlled by the event brand that imported it; if so, we will help route your request to them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
